Providing Quality Education and Care Programs for Children
what we do
Responding to the diverse needs of our community, our Family Day Care service provide quality education and care programs for children between 6 weeks and 12 years of age in a secure and caring home environment.
Based on EYLF and MTOP Frameworks, our service is provided by a network of accredited Educators who are trained and monitored under the Southern Cross Family Day Care Scheme.
Through our network of Educators, playgroups are also organised to give children the opportunity to interact in larger groups.
As our Educators operate their own businesses, fees will vary from Educator to Educator. Your Educator will provide you with a fee schedule as part your initial discussions. Southern Cross Family Day Care is an approved child care service and, as such, entitles you to claim Child Care Subsidy (CCS) or Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) where applicable.
-
Small Groups
From their own homes, our Educators provide care for up to 7 children (4 under school age and 3 attending school, including their own children) – providing children with the opportunity to learn and develop their social skills in a small group environment.
-
Cultural Opportunities
As a service, we offer the children extended community opportunities such as cultural events, visits with local emergency groups, playgroups and visit to local community homes.
